Picture of my back during one of my balik kampung trip. This is at Similajau National Park. ANd there's crocodiles in the river.
Hi Peeps,
I am still in the state of disbelieve. I can't believe that Brazil is going balik kampung.
Usually in Malaysia when we say balik kampung that means going back to village. ( Balik - Going Back, Kampung- Village) . NOT that it is a bad thing, this going back to village- I myself find this going back to my village in Bintulu, Sarawak (don't know where that is? Goooogleee ya.. :) is always and forever a pleasure. Why? Because I love my kampung. The green serenity, peace and quiet, all those lovely people and cheap yummy local delicacies and of course, being a mummy's and daddy's girl, the balik kampung trip is always a trip I'm looking forward to.
And there is another term, famous here in Malaysia when you fail, or let me rephrase that, Fail seem to be too harsh a word , when you are not up to the standard of expectation - then we say " Hey, go pack your things and go balik kampung laaa...." In other words, You have failed, go home. Isn't that comforting? I mean, who doesn't like balik kampung? Pppfftt... Why don't just say, " Hey, nice try". Not that hard I guess but some people just love being sarcastic. Ohh... my heart breaking for Brazil.
I am still, and I bet I am going to have nightmares tonight and come daylight, I will have to picture - Brazil Balik Kampung.
